A precision sheet-metal stamping company has launched ultra-thin copper‑nickel‑plated conductive shims, measuring 0.08 to 0.25 mm in thickness, for use in energy‑storage lithium batteries and residential energy‑storage PACK systems.
The product employs an integrated continuous stamping process, featuring one-piece formed bends, positioning snap‑fits, and conductive contact structures—eliminating the need for secondary welding. The stamped end faces are free of burrs, with flatness tolerances maintained at ±0.01 mm; the plating is uniform and adheres without flaking, reducing electrical contact loss by 15%. The production line is equipped with in-line visual inspection, ensuring consistent dimensional accuracy and a first‑pass yield of less than 0.3% per batch.
Compared with split‑assembly conductive structures, this stamped spring contact eliminates three assembly steps, doubling customers’ assembly efficiency. Samples have already been provided to energy‑storage equipment manufacturers for testing, and mass‑production orders are scheduled through the fourth quarter.
